The point is simple: make it easier to understand the place we share. We start with original photographs, local questions and public sources, then keep a dated record people can return to.
NBV Local is an independent local media company and is not affiliated with the North Bay Village government.
How we report
- Neighborhood photo report
- What we saw or photographed, with the original observation date preserved.
- Developer statement
- What a named developer says. It remains a commercial source, even when we link to it.
- Village information
- What an identified public page or document establishes. We describe its scope and the date checked.
- What remains unanswered
- Questions the attached evidence does not answer. We do not fill gaps with guesses.
Our field photographs come from NBV Local’s original local collection and carry capture dates. The three aerial reference images have unverified photographer and capture dates, as their captions state. AI visuals are labeled where they appear and do not document existing places or approved projects. The English and Spanish editions share the same source record.

On community pages, Vercel Web Analytics measures share-button use, copied links, visits marked via=share and saved requests where measurable. No contact details, form text, participant lists, receipt IDs or URL queries are sent as analytics properties. We honor Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. A share click is not a delivered invitation or successful referral. Attribution uses a generic link marker, without tracking cookies or identifying the sender.
Events, club-interest and game-request forms store the contact details and request you choose to submit in NBV Local’s private database. We use them to review and contact you about that request, separately from newsletter signup. These forms do not send your details to organizers or other players. A necessary browser cookie protects your receipt and withdrawal access for 30 days. Abuse protection uses a keyed fingerprint of the connection address; the application does not log your form contents. Outside the local test preview, Cloudflare Turnstile checks for automated abuse. Hosting and security providers may process technical request information.
Use your receipt to withdraw an open request and its contact permission. Withdrawal does not cancel external bookings or erase review and consent history. After browser access expires, use the corrections contact above for a privacy request; a claimed email alone cannot retrieve a receipt.

Newsletter signup is provided by Beehiiv. When you submit its form, Beehiiv processes your email address and any optional name or language preference for NBV Local’s newsletter. Signing up is optional, and each newsletter includes an unsubscribe link.
Beehiiv may process technical and referral information when its form loads or you subscribe. The hosting provider processes request information to deliver the pages. External services have their own privacy policies.
